I often feel that when I tell someone I work out of my house, they look at me sympathetically, as if to say, "that's nice", but what they want to say is, "when are you going to get a 'real' job". Working for yourself, especially out of your house, is often misunderstood.  Because of the dwindling supply of "traditonal" work, along with today's lack of jobs in certain areas, one almost has to find the resources and opportunities within to become your own boss, start-up your own business, and create your own work.  It is articles like this that encourage and support what we are doing!
